Brahman and Person: Essays by Richard De Smet, ed. Ivo Coelho, is out of the press: Motilal Banarsidass, Delhi, 2010. Besides 14 essays on the personality of the Absolute Brahman, and the question of whether Indian thought could supply elements for an adequate notion of person, the book contains also an introduction by the editor, and the bibliography of De Smet's works, running into 700 plus items.

I feel ashamed to note that the last time I put up - or rather, Leon put up for me - something on this blog was a full 2 years ago!

Just in case anyone logs on to this, I want to say that the bibliography on the parallel blog has been thoroughly updated, and one of these days I am going to put it up. Much matter has been traced - but not all. I am, for example, still looking out for the following reviews / journals / magazines:

The Messenger of the Sacred Heart (Mumbai)
Indian Law Review (Mumbai)
The Divine Life (Sivanandanagar, Rishikesh)
The Call Divine (Tiruvannamalai?)

Anyone know something about these?
